Nichole + Donnie
I had the chance to meet Nichole, and let me tell you she is one of the sweetest people I have ever met! The colors for her wedding were royal blue, blush pink, champagne, and gray.
Nichole is a girl after my own heart – she knew exactly what she wanted for her flowers. Some of her “must-have’s” were garden roses, pheasant feathers, football chrysanthemums, fresh rosemary, sagebrush, and wax flower.
She only wanted hints of royal blue, so I ordered in some blue hydrangea. The hydrangea was perfect because gave me the “hints” of blue that she wanted and it also created the structure for the bouquet.
I really love the addition of the football chrysanthemums. They are huge, full of texture, and they were the perfect color to go along with her wedding colors.
Let’s take a second to talk about those amazing pheasant feathers. Nichole is amazing – the feathers in her bouquet were from a pheasant that she hunted herself.
Between the wax flower and the garden roses, let’s just say that her bouquet smelled heavenly!

But I think if I didn’t take these pictures, I may have not noticed the miracle of growth. I’ve impatiently been waiting for tulips to bloom 🤦🏼♀️
Isn’t that life- hurrying to the next thing, wanting more, done with our current situation. But in reality, we are progressing, little by little each day.
Sometimes we just need to stop, notice, and appreciate the beauty in where we are.
In no time at all, things have transformed and changed! Flowers can teach us so much!
